It's official.
I not only have one plane ticket waiting on the computers at good old Southwest Airlines to take me to Oregon, but TWO.
Yes my friends, I am coming home.
I am flying into PDX on June 8th (unfortunately flying back out again promptly on June 12th) and flying into PDX again on July 8th. On the second trip, I will be staying until approxemately July 28th. So, plan your trips to Astoria accordingly. Or, at least make time for me to come to Portland or Seattle or wherever you may be.
This summer is looking GOOD. Not only am I going to Prague and Italy, but I get to work for two different professional theatre companies in Utah. Pretty rad.
Next year is looking amazing. I am designing two shows: the opera, Marriage of Figaro and the winter musical, Berlin. I'm going to take architecture classes. I'm going to be working as Eric Feilding's research and design assistant and be paid for it. John will be back. I will be applying to UW and NYU. I will graduate. Wow.

LOVE the new layout. It's fantastical!
AND, you'll be home when I'm home! I'm not going to miss you at all! Hooray! I mean, I won't actually be in Astoria; I can't take that kind of time off from work, but you're more than welcome in the Grove. Tim and I will be in our new place by then and can offer you a couch or something for crashing on. OOOOH! You can come to our Harry Potter release party!
It's so funny that you're designing a show called Berlin, instead of going to Berlin. Isn't that funny? That's funny.
I love UW. I love NYU. Either way, maybe we'll be near.
Love the new background. I was like, "No way. Is it Peter Iredale? That can't be... It is!" Beautiful. I like the blue better than the black, too. Looks good.
Architecture? Cool! I'd guess there's a lot of drafting and design, huh? Good stuff. Sound interesting.
I like sharing cool pictures I find online with friends. Be sure to follow the link at the bottom of the page to see the full picture. I'm considering shrinking it a little. This one of the Iredale is particularly neato, I thought. I've always loved time-lapse/exposure shots of the stars.
It is funny that I'll still have a piece of Berlin even though I'm not going to Berlin. I hope the show is good. I'm a little nervous about it. We'll see.
I love UW. I love NYU. We must be twins separated at birth. I'm leaning toward Seattle. What about you?
The architecture classes are from the Art History department . . . . so it's less technical and more visual/historical. I feel good about it.
Yeah, maybe shrink the photo just enough that the headlights show at the very bottom? The headlights really make the photo, I think. Also, the photo fits with your title well. The sun sinks in the sea, and the stars rise over it.
Well, I'm certainly headed to Seattle. Whether I'll be there when either of you are there is unclear. Maybe you can take over my apartment when I move out. If I'm going to do this film grad program thing, then NYU has one of the top programs. I'm not crazy mad about living in NY, but it'd be exciting, for sure. "An experience." But there's always Boston, Chicago, and SoCal for other good film programs. Who knows? I need to take my GREs, I think.
I want to take an Art History Architecture class. Awwwesome! What am I doing graduating!? I want more school!
