Friends, it has been too long since I have posted on this here blog, but I have lots of good newses.
First of all, I had a wonderful birthday with gifts, phone calls, and love from everyone. It's really wonderful to know that I am cared about. It is a beautiful thing.
Also,
Marriage of Figaro is opening and I am finally done with it. DONE! Ahhh, such relief. I don't know that I want to do opera ever again. It's a totally different experience and FAR less creative or collaborative than theatre. Guh. We'll see, though . . . I guess it really depends on the director and his or her style . . . I've seen some pretty amazing opera designs . . . [cough]GeorgeTsypin[cough] . . . so we'll see. More on that in coming weeks.
I've been having a hard time with life lately . . . knowing that I'm graduating soon and not having a clue what I want to do, wondering if I made the right choice sticking with theatre, not liking the show I was working on, painting for WAY too many hours, being away from all the people I love, missing home . . . that sort of thing. I'm happy to report that things are looking up. I still don't know what to expect after I graduate or what to do, but I'll just have to deal with my quarter-life-crisis when it arrives. Meanwhile, I'm out of that blasted slump.
I have copies of all my favorite ABBA songs again. It is cause for celebration!
britta's working on a film, and that's just freaking rad. She deserves that kind of success after the many, many months of waiting and wanting.
I am nearly finished posting the Prague pictures online. I know I've been promising for MONTHS, but now I'm serious. I'm way close. I've been distracted this week, else they'd already be up. So, I'll email and facebook and blog when I get 'er done.
