the frenzied pace of the mind inside the cell

Four months, one new laptop, three jobs, one boyfriend, one UHaul, one new apartment, two cats, one triangle desk, one General Conference, five-and-a-third (nearly six-and-a-third) resolutions, one birthday, one concert, two almost-concerts, one lost art deco couch, one futon, one trip to Utah, two plays, two movie nights, and one democratic president later, I am back on the blog.
Operation Summarize: Complete.
Things ended at the fish factory on a Thursday, I moved to Seattle on Friday, and started my new job at the architecture office on Monday. Everything happened very quickly, and in the span of about a week, I had created an entirely new life for myself. Very liberating.
Currently, not everything is running as smoothly as I had hoped. I am no longer employed, due to the recent crunch on Wall Street, but I am optimistic about future possibilities. I liked the job I had and it is certainly inconvenient to have to hit the craigslist again, but I am resilient.
And so, let it begin again. Bring it on, Seattle.
