stay, don't stand around

So, I got a job. I didn't blog about it, but that wasn't because I wasn't excited about it or grateful for it. I am both excited and grateful . . . but I'm also sort of in limbo, emotionally.
Currently, I am watching too much TV, working at the bakery, waiting to hear back from University of Washington, and loving the Washington Trust for Historic Preservation.
Things are good, but I can't really start planning my future's steps until I know whether or not I have been accepted to UW. Several people have asked me what I will do if I don't get in, so, here is The Plan:
If I don't get into UW:
- Stay at Great Harvest at least for the summer and eat lots of good bread. And cookies.
- Keep loving the Washington Trust for the next several months.
- Research more preservation programs and make a list of ten programs I would like to apply to. (I can trim it later.)
- Think about moving to NYC with Heidi after my lease is up and camp out there until/through the next round of applications.
- Move to wherever I get accepted.
If I do get accepted:
- Big party.
- Change my cellphone number to a Seattle number.
- Figure out how to get my car registered in WA despite the complications.
- Research what my schedule will be like for school and figure out how to keep Great Harvest and The Washington Trust in my life.
There you have it. My life plans. For now.
